[Resolved] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Working in Thesis theme

  • Hi, I’m a newbie, so please forgive my probably most basic question. I’m unsure where (what file and where) to install the code snippet you provided to replace the header in my theme.

    Thanks, A

Hi ajcrispel, it depends on what theme you are using. In this screencast I explain how to add the template tag to the default 2010 theme, that would be a good place to start: http://www.vimeo.com/12901374

I can give you more specific info for your site if you can let me know what theme you are using, or post a link to your site.

Ha, here you told me which theme you were using right in your title 🙂

Are you using Thesis 1.7? There should be a hook page in the control panel, or a hooks plugin? You can use the template tag in those hooks to add it to the header, you’ll have to try as few of the header hooks but one of them should work.

Ah, the plugin that I was referring to is Thesis OpenHook. I think it works alright with 3.0.

You can add the Meteor Slides template tag to the “Header” hook, be sure to check the “Execute PHP on this hook” box for this hook.

Not sure how that is going to layout, you might need to tweak the CSS.
