[Plugin: Meteor Slides] Slideshow shifting content down

I’m new to this so please bear with me and my stylesheet. Recently, my Meteor slideshow has been doing strange things to its surrounding div. I haven’t messed with the Meteor css but, suddenly content beneath the slideshow has been shifted way down the page. There is also something off about the positioning of the slideshow vs. rest of the content (window resize shifts the rest of the content in the div).
