[Plugin: Meteor Slides] Slideshow isn't showing entire photo

    I am adding new slides and setting the featured images. When I do I am choosing Medium as the size of the photo, having already saved them on my desktop at a smaller MB then the original. Once I have done this, I am putting all of the slides into the slideshow and posting it on my site in a new post. When the slideshow appears on the site, the images are bigger than the box so the box is only showing a portion of the image as if it’s zoomed in on it rather than the whole photo I posted. I have played around in the setting with the Slide Height and Width but that does nothing to the images just changes the size of the box. Please HELP! Really struggling here.

    Hi, the slide images are sized to fit the slideshow when you upload them. So you want to set the slideshow dimensions before uploading your images, to resize your images, reupload them.

    Thanks for the tip. Could not figure out what was going on.

    Are you planing on added or is there a way to set different widths and heights per slider?

    The widget looks cool but cant use it if i have something set on a different page.

    I’ve deleted, changed settings, re-uploaded and still the pics are cut off. Need this to be RIGHT for photography client. Very important.

    Now what do I do?

    Kammy, if you have uploaded the images after setting the dimensions, but the images in the slideshow don’t match those dimensions, than the images are likely correct and you have a theme issue.

    With some themes, the images can appear cropped with CSS or because of layering or something misaligned the slideshow.

    I would investigate the slideshow with Firebug, if you can post a link, I can check it out for you.

    heirani1, Meteor Slides does not scale your images to fit the slideshow, it crops them. So if you are losing part of your images when you add them to the slideshow, I’d suggest resizing them before you upload them. If the images match the dimensions in the settings they will not be cropped.
