    Hi, I was wondering how to correct alignment of the slider as when updating to the latest plugin version it breaks and everything just moves down in the page, I use it in a fixed with page and the only custom layout setting added to the updated CSS override is:

    #meteor-slideshow {
    	margin:29px auto 0;
    }

    Thanks

    Hi, there are two likely issues. Either something before the slideshow is floating and is breaking the layout of the slideshow, or the slideshow navigation is pushing the slideshow down.

    You could try adding a clear to the slideshow to resolve the first issue:

    .meteor-slides {
    clear: both;
    }

    For the second one try this:

    .meteor-slides ul.meteor-nav {
    	display: inline !important;
    }

    If you can post a link I can take a look.

    Thanks for the information, I have another question that also involves layout… on other installations I have made before the latest updates I had customized using the ‘media queries’ to make them scale to the browser width, I realized the latest CSS as with the latest CSS has changed extensively… do the custom CSS and templates need to be revised/merged with ‘the non customized’ parts as well?

    If you are using a custom stylesheet or slideshow template you will have to update them with the template files from 1.5 and re-apply your changes if you want to use new responsive skin.
