Hi, you don’t have to delete the slide, but you do have to remove the image and re-upload the image so that it will be sized to match your new settings.

I was having the same problem and did as instructed and although it says the site image is loaded in the size I set it is showing in the widget, (which I have as a virtual tour on my site, http://www.bigskycoast.co), still in the unchanged size.

I have updated my slideshow too.

    Any suggestions please?

Hi, hope this helps, I was having the same issue with old image sizes even after I updated the settings of an existing slideshow.

I tried re-installing the plugin, re-uploading images, etc. and I noticed that the actual image was getting resized (cropped) and the file name was being appended with the dimensions of the old settings.

All I did was remove the old images from the library and uploaded the images within the ‘Add New Slide > Set Feature Image’ window and NOT inserting them using the media library. Once I uploaded the image and didn’t set the featured image through the ‘media library’ tab in the pop-up, it used the correct image/size.

As long as you upload the images after you set the slideshow dimensions in the settings, they should be the correct size no matter how you upload them.

Holmey, I don’t see a slideshow in your site?

I Deleted & reinstalled it, saved my new size settings and started again and it worked 🙂

I’d taken the slide show down as it didn’t look good but I’ve replaced it now as it’s sorted.

    Thanks for the help guys.
