[Resolved] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] mixing portrait and landscape

  • I am using meteor slides on a site I am building.
Site is here: Kids in Vietnam
Slideshows are 518 pixels wide, 388 px height, landscape orientation.
I now receieved some pictures in portrait mode, which are difficult to crop to landscape without spoiling the pictures. I would like to make a slideshow in portrait mode for that particular page.
I tried to use metadata, like so:

    [meteor_slideshow slideshow="myslideshow" metadata="height: 619, width: 518"]

but that does not work the slides are cropped to the original size.

Can this be done and if yes, how?

    Thank you.

  • OK, found out how to do it.
The trick is to set the height in the slideshow settings to the height of the portrait image, 619 px in this case.
The landscape images will still show at the right size, provided the images are the correct size to begin with (I suppose)

    Thanks for the plugin.
