  • I use the Weaver 2010 WP 3.0 Theme and there are many place to put the code. Being new I am not sure where I am placing this?

I am copying the code that you have included
I then go to my editor and put it into XXXXXXXX file between XXXX and XXX
    I then update that file

My first page is updated each day with a new post. I would like to include this article rotator on that page but in the header or below the current post- is this possible? What will happen to the article rotator in tomorrows post?

Sorry about the basic questions, trying hard to figure out how to do this

Hi Don, in the Weaver options, there is a code box for adding code to the header. You can add the slideshow shortcode right to your header by pasting it into that box. But this will add it to every page, and you might need to edit other elements in your header to get it to layout correctly.

If you want the slideshow in your blog, but don’t want it to get pushed down, you can create a sticky post with that slideshow.

I can give you more specific info if you can post a link and specify where on the page you are trying to add it.

Hi, thanks so much for getting back to me. As suggested, I looked at the Weaver editor and found a place to insert code into the header.

The first web site is here we post a new article daily in the box and everything else is static. I though your slides could be a nice feature if I could install them in an area below the daily motivation- I don’t know if this is doable?

My other site is is being rebuilt and I thought that it would look nice to showcase some of our material in the slider. Do you have any suggestions as to placement? I think that this first page will be static.

Thanks for you help, I am interested in your ideas.

For the first site, there is actually a widget area right below that post called “Bottom Widget Area”. You could use the Meteor Slides Widget in that widget area. But if you only want the slideshow on the homepage you’ll have to use a plugin like Widget Logic.

For the second site, if the homepage is going to be static you can add the slideshow right to that page’s content using the shortcode.
