Support » Plugin: Menubar » [Plugin: Menubar] Three questions: colour problems / minimum widths / positioning on page

  • Hi,

Great plugin, but I’m having a few final issues I’d like to resolve. Using WordPress 3.2.1 and Atahualpa 3.6.7. Website is:

    1. when I load my website for the first time on a new computer, some of the menu items appear in red font (the same red that highlights the selected menu on mouse-over). However, when you click on the link, the page re-loads correctly for that tab (i.e. white font). You have to click on all the tabs that have red text before the menu loads correctly. Any idea what I have done wrong?

    2. Is there a way to make all the menubar items have a fixed width, and also that the child items have the same width as the parent items above?

    3. ideally I’d like the menubar to be below the site logo, but above the main area / right sidebar – currently I can only get the menu to appear in the main area – or – above the logo which I don’t like. Grateful for any comments.

    Many thanks in advance,

PS quite a newbie at this – happy to make changes to files with an editor, but need a bit of a hand on the way 🙂

    Hi Anthony,

The first point has been reported already, but I wasn’t able to fix it, it’s probably a CSS issue.

Second point: probably you could achieve it, writing a new Menubar template, but I’m not sure how to write that template.

Third point: you can try and move the ‘do_action’ line around in your theme, until you get the result you need.
