[Plugin: Membership lite] Installed, activated… nothing happens

I installed the plugin automatically using 3.01’s plugin auto install feature. It installed fine.

I then activated the plugin and nothing happened. No admin menu item named, “Membership” and it didn’t block any pages on the frontend like it said might happen.

I went to the developers’ website where some others were having the same problem. I was going to leave some feedback, but they wanted a paid subscription before I could post a reply.

I wish developers would test their product before publishing and save us all a lot of grief and precious time wasted.
