After installing and activating with Viddler WordPress plugin, our MediaElementsJS shortcode audio events stopped working.
It appears that they switched from the player element used by the MediaElementsJS plugin to the QuickTime. However, the audio item would not play.
I’ve been in contact with the developer of the Viddler plugin and it has been suggested that, “it seems to be related the way that the Media Element plugin handles flash embeds.”
Once the Viddler plugin has been disabled the MediaElementsJS audio items will work correctly.
We’d really like to see this issue looked into from both plugin developer sides, as, we believe, many sites, along with ours, would benefit from use of both of these plugins.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
