[Plugin: Media Tools] Possible tweaks to plugin?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for making this plugin! I am in the process of moving my site from one host to another, and it looks like Media Tools will help me immensely. It does most of what I’m needing it to do, but there are two things I’d like to have done differently:

1) I’d like for the plugin not to change my new site’s IMG SRC addresses. After I finish developing the new site, I’ll be switching the domain name over to the new site. At that point, the addresses for all the images will be the same as they originally were (since the old site with that same domain name is where I’m importing the images from). Is there a way I can disable the IMG SRC change (maybe by altering some lines of code in the plugin, etc)?

2) I use the Custom Upload Dir plugin to put my images into directories with the following format: /%year%/%month%/%day%. So, for example, an image I added today would go into wp-content/uploads/2012/09/15. Is there any way I can make your plugin take that into account when it’s importing the images? I’d like for it to keep the directory hierarchy from the source upon importing, instead of just putting all the images in the uploads directory.
