Support » Plugin: Media File Sizes » [Plugin: Media File Sizes] Version 1.0.1 is broken! Version 1.0.0 worked fine.

  • After upgrading to Version 1.0.1, I get this error message when viewing the Media Library:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_space_allowed() in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/media-file-sizes/media_file_sizes.php on line 94

Version 1.0.0 worked perfectly. Please let me know if you need any additional info to troubleshoot this problem.

    Thanks,

    Fred

  • P.S. Meanwhile, I’ve commented out the new code dealing with quotas so that I can continue to use the plugin.

Thanks for the update. I apparently didn’t test 1.0.1 on non-multisites sufficiently. Update coming soon!

Thanks for the plugin! It’s a really handy feature to have, and I’m surprised it’s not already built in to WordPress.

Fixed and 1.0.2 committed – might take a bit for this to see it.
thanks again for pointing this out.

Like you said, it’s too soon for WordPress to notify me of the updated plugin in my Dashboard, but I was able to delete the old plugin and install the new one with no problems.

I’m happy to report that the update works perfectly on my site! Thanks so much for fixing this so quickly. I’m also happy that I can give your plugin a five star rating.

    Thanks again,

    Fred

P.S. I think it’s pretty cool that PHP lets you check whether a function exists before you call it. Nice!

Thanks for acknowledging me in the changelog — that was a mighty nice thing to do!

I just upgraded to Version 1.1. That new column sort feature is really nice. Thanks for adding that!

    Fred
