# Plugin managment help

 * I’ve uploaded plug ins in the correct folder on the ftp, but they are not listed
   in the Plugin management area of the website. The directory path is incorrect.
   How do you change the directory path or have it resolved automatically?
 * This is the start of the directory and I’m not sure where this come from, since
   the path does not match:
    /hermes/bosweb/web241/b2416
 * Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 * Plugins typically are loaded into the wp-content/plugins folder.

 * Yes, it’s in the correct folder, but on the Plugin Management page where you 
   activate/deactivate the new plugins are not listed. The templates pages did load
   correctly, but the plugins are not.
 * I did notice that the directory path listed on the page is incorrect. The path
   states:
    /hermes/bosweb/web241/b2416/sl.inidesig/public_html/redcarpetsecrets/
   blog/wp-content/plugins
 * but it should be:
    /inidesig/public_html/redcarpetsecrets/blog/wp-content/plugins
 * Is there a place to change this or update it?

 * Since wordpress is installed in the blog folder don’t understand why [http://www.redcarpetsecrets.com/blog](http://www.redcarpetsecrets.com/blog)
   gives error.
