# Plugin Manager issue

 * Hello,
 * My plugin manager isnt finding any of the plugins that are installed in the wp-
   content/plugins/ directory. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

 * I realized that my admin panel isn’t finding my plugins directory or the my-hacks.
   php file… I’m not sure why, I didn’t change any of the default path settings…
   It is finding my themes directory though which is weird. Anyone have any ideas?

 * i’m not sure which plugin manager you’re using, but the one i know of was disabled
   about a year ago, and has not been re-enabled yet… it was because of major bugs
   and other issues, which you appear to have now discovered yourself.

 * I guess plugin manager is not the proper term… I meant the plugin administrator
   that comes with wordpress, that lets you activate and deactivate plugins you 
   want to use.

 * try chmodding the dir and dirs files.. they might not be readable

 * Using GO Daddy hosting, I was on a Windows server… Asked them to switch it to
   Linux… Problem solved. Thanks for all your help though.
