• has quite a lot of options but lacks some very basic things:
    1. when subscribing no option of adding a name
    2. the themes are an interesting way of making the emails but the initial ones aren’t very imaginative
    3. can’t add a registration form that adds the user to a specific mailing list
    4. no tutorial although it isn’t easy to understand how to use
    5. addons come with it but it isn’t at all clear how to install them, and I personally had to download each one separately in order to install.

  • 1. will be solved in mp 4.0 (currently development version)

    2. send all your imaginative themes to contact@nogent94.com

    3. there are solution but see below

    4. i agree

    5. they all have a readme.txt file …

    The only huge drawback to MailPress is no bounce management. I can’t justify using the plugin until there is some method of handling bounces and removing dead users from the mailpress DB. (A counter threashhold system, where they are dumped after X # of bounces)

    Thanks,

    @simonwe

    HI arena,

    I selected one of my Mailing lists as default (in options page), but when users subscribe, they are not assigned to any mailing list. Do I have to anything else?

    Regards,
