  • brad_holland

Would it be possible to update the WordPress plugin that allows us to add a sign-up form to a sidebar to where I can change the position or level of the input fields?

For example, It has email first and name second. I would like to have the first name in the top position and the email input underneath of it.

    Here is a screenshot:

    Thanks for your help.

    Hey Brad!

To reorder the fields in your list for the MailChimp plugin, you’ll need to reorder them in the signup form that’s hosted on MailChimp. The plugin pulls in the information directly from the signup form that was designed in your MailChimp account. Any changes made there will be reflected in the plugin once you click on “update list”.

How do I change the order of the columns/fields in my list/signup form?:

Give us a shout back if we can help with anything else!

    Hi there,

MC_Nate – thank you for the HUGE tip. I just want to add, once someone changes the order on the MailChimp hosted signup form, they need to log back into their site, go to MailChimp settings and click “Update List”, then “Update Subscribe Form Settings” to have order updated in their MailChimp Widget.

I just did all that for a client and thought I’d post here to help others.

    Take care,

    Hi jeeni,

Thanks for the input.I was wondering why the order didn’t change even after I followed MC_Nates’s instructions.

    You two are friggin’ Rockstars.
