You may have seen and installed v1.2 of the Signup Form Plugin. In testing there were a few situations where we saw the plugin break after an upgrade. If that happened to you, please check out the upgrade notes and try what they suggest before posting.

The back story here is that we’ve brought on CrowdFavorite to maintain and continue to develop the plugin for us going forward (with some direction from us, of course). In doing that, they fixed a lot of non-standard/old things with how the plugin worked, which is what has caused some of these issues – that’s also why it was bumped from 1.1.x to 1.2. While that may sting a little now, as they continue to improve the functionality and general WordPress compatibility, everyone should be much happier in general.

  • Hey, glad to hear this is continuing to develop. I use the plugin on dozens of sites.

But the 1.2 zip download is missing from the WP installation page. Can someone correct the link or upload the zip?

It’s back up. Must have temporary.

On another note, there are some bugs in the Magento MailChimp Ecommerce 360 plugin, and hasn’t been updated in a year. Any chance someone from MailChimp can visit the Magento Mailchimp plugin forums and see if you can get someone to fix it? Specifically, the compilation mode and the code quality posts here:

Help Please! – Plugin was working perfectly before my host changed my server. Now the plugin/widget won’t work, and the signin form displays old fields, and not current. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, deactivated all plugins, and still no success.
Is there some other code in my wp files that needs to be cleared out to make this work? apparently corrupted in the transfer – this happened on both my blogs.
