[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Radio Buttons for Groups fail

    I am using groups on my Mailing List and have them included on my signup form. I want to use a radio button to enforce only one choice but when I do that it fails with the error “» An invalid Interest Group was selected.”

    If I switch to check boxes it works just fine. I’ve removed groups, added them fresh, even logged out of the plugin, logged back in and removed and re-added the widget but this still fails on submission when using the radio buttons.

    This has been fixed in 1.1.11 which should become available shortly.

    My issue is possibly related?

    I have a Group set up with check boxes but only the Group title shows up on the page. I’ve checked the generated html and the expected Group’s text doesn’t exist.

    … and my form has a date field, which is 3 fields on the mailchimp design page, but is just a text box with no d/m/y validation when shown in wordpress via the mailchimp plugin.

    Shaun – that problem looks like somehow part of your list setup was wiped out. I’d suggest going into the plugin setup and going through the steps again – just be sure to save a copy of anything special you may have set there.

    Simon – the WP plugin currently only support text fields. At some point – likely when you see v1.2 – support will be added for other field types.

    I had started from scratch before. I have uploaded a screengrab of my Mail Chimp plugin set up. As you can see it has picked up the group options from MC ok. It just doesn’t want to display them.

    The code available actually had the fix in it, but we didn’t change version numbers correctly so it didn’t appear that way. It should now.

    Just to let you know that 1.1.11 fixed my issue without me having to change anything.

    I did have to force it to “update list” to refresh itself but all looks good now.
