• Hi Gang,

I thought I had done everything correctly, but the result is not what I expected.

I am using the latest MailChimp plugin version 1.1.8, and it places the subscribe form in the sidebar, however, the styling I implemented on the MailChimp site is not carrying over.

If someone could please take a look at http://www.ldaofr.com, I would appreciate it. The top form is using the widget as intended, and the bottom form is using the Exec-PHP plugin and a text widget, with the single line of code.

As you can see, they are producing the same results.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Bryan J Zimmerman

  • The plugin is not intended to bring over any styling setup in the MailChimp app.

You can set some basic styles in the plugin settings menu or you can turn that off and add your own CSS in your site’s theme to make it do exactly what you’d like.

The is no difference in the code the plugin outputs when using the actual widget or adding it in a text box/widget, so that’s expected.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Jesse. I am new to MailChimp, and must have read something wrong.

    Kind Regards,

I added the plugin version 1.1.8 and it broke up the aesthetic of my video scroll bar. The bars at the bottom and side should not be seen. Can somebody please look at my site http://www.mixtapecomedy.com and let me know if you have any suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Byron Ward
