# [Plugin: Magic Gallery] The shortcode does not work

 * The shortcode does not work. I’m using the default image gallery id.

 * Hi desbest,
 * Please go to the settings page and hit save once. Also make sure you have chmodded
   the cache and upload folders to 777 (make sure to do this recursively).
 * This should solve your issue, and the next version of the plugin will not have
   this issue anymore.
