    Ooohh..your action box looks nice 🙂

    anyway, that’s how mailchimp works unfortunately out of the box and our integration is just limited to creating a mailchimp html form right now.. so the double optin submission is still going to happen.

    I would suggest changing the old opt-in page to match the new input fields you need. Users will still be directed to that page though after they click on submit

    Thank you Ryann,
    I finally managed to go around it by chosing the “Other” option instead of the automatic Mailchimp, copying the code provided by Mailchimp in my account and editing it a bit before processing it. And now it works!
    : )
