 * Is there an easy way for me to incorporate html code on top of this slider so
   that I can have buttons linking to other pages.

 * I guess its too late to reply now, but you can very easily add any html code 
   in the caption 🙂
 * But, if you don’t want in the caption, then you need to play with some CSS to
   achieve what you want, details would be appreaciated if you still need this thing
   to be done.
