• My client’s WP website was recently updated to version 3.2.1 and since then the ‘Login with Ajax’ widget will not login in automatically. After entering username, password and clicking the login button the loading animation displays and that is all that happens. This happens in both IE and Firefox.

    Refreshing the page or clicking on a link shows that the login has worked, but of course this should happen automatically. Especially since there are redirects set up based on user role and usernames.

    I have looked and cannot see any Javascript errors in the browser, nor can I find any errors in the WP logs.

    The website is running Login with Ajax version 3.0.4.

    Any solutions or insights to what the issue could be would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    hi,

    i have the same issue on another. just checking to see if you’ve had a chance to look into this?

    Bit of a late reply but I was having the same issue.
    I happened to be loading jQuery 1.4.1.
    I updated to jQuery 1.6.2 and everything now works how it should.

    Hi all,
    I have the same problem.
    #Omnilogic, can you tell us how did you upadated the jQuery to 1.6.2;

    I had a plugin (easing slider) that was activating an old version of jQuery. Once I told it not to, WordPress loaded up the latest version. View source of your site and search for jQuery to see what plugin may be loading an older version.
