    I have security warnings because it doesn't take into account if accessed over http or https in the URIs

    Please check it´s not a conflicting plugin and your wp-config setting has the right SSL constants defined, because the stylesheet inclusion uses a wordpress core function which should do ssl automatically. See http://netweblogic.com/forums/topic/problems-with-ssl
