Plugin Loaded, Not Showing in Dashboard

    Hello, I am using this plugin on my dev site and it works perfectly. I migrated that site and all it’s plugins etc to the permanent hosting and Smart Slider is loaded but doesn’t show in the dashboard sidebar. I’m using PHP 7.0.29. It’s activated and I have tried deactivating and reactivating, deleting and reinstalling, dumping my cache and nothing is working. Can you please advise? It’s imperative that I get this plugin working properly. Thank you.

    I’d like to add that the Smart Slider icon is visible in the post editing window but when you click on it as if you were going to add a slider, it says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    Hi @tyler1111,
    we are hunting for this bug for a long time. Could you try to open phpmyadmin -> wp_options table and delete the row where the option_value is n2_ss3_version, then Smart Slider 3 should load fine on your site. Does this method solved the issue?

    If it did, could you tell us the steps what you used for migration? Was it a service or plugin or manual copy of your site?

    The row you referenced row doesn’t exist in that database. It does exist in the database for the install in which Smart Slider works. I used All in One Migration plugin and typically don’t have any problems with it.
