Plugin list not changing

    Hello, I’m trying to add and remove plugins, but no matter what I change in the wp-content/plugins folder, when I go to Manage plugins, everything stays the same. I even did the Extended Upgrade and it still remains like that. Can anyone help?

    I even removed the whole plugins folder and nothing happened.
    I did try upgrading WordPress and it failed, so i did the Extended Upgrade, but that didn’t help. Could the upgrade have installed wordpress to a different folder? I can’t find it anywhere else.
