[Plugin: List category posts] Executing shortcodes from within listings?

I want to execute a shortcode (specifically a shortcode php exec plugin) from within the catlist shortcode.

I want to enter a sniplet of code as a shortcode in the excerpt of a page that will show up when the excerpts are displayed in the listing. That same content is displayed all over my sites, so I want to reduce the number of places I need to update it to one.

I suspect that this may be a reach, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.

By the way–this is an outstanding plugin! makes life incredibly easy to update my site.
