Support » Plugin: Events Manager - Email Users » Plugin list blocked by EM Email Users error message

  • I deactivated Events Manager. That caused the following error:
“EM Email Users needs Events Manager to be installed and activated.
    This plugin has been deactivated…”
I clicked Back, but came to another plugin. When I click Plugins, I only get the error message above. The list of plugins is no longer available.
I deleted the EM Email Users using Filezilla, but I still get this error message instead of the list of plugins.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this!
Yet, if you delete the complete folder /events-manager-email-users/ via FTP, the plugin dependency check should not run at all (the code has been deleted).

What sometimes also helps (after deleting the plugin), is manually changing the URL in your browser. Simply remove everything after /wp-admin/ and hit enter. That should reload your main Dashboard page.

It is very strange. I have deleted the plugin, stil I get the error message. Now the whole site is blocked. It is not possible to log in. See ullernseilforening.no

That is strange indeed and should not happen.
If you email me your WP Admin login and FTP credentials, I will look deeper into it for you.

You can safely submit the info via:

I rolled back a backup, deleted the plugin again and installed the new version. Now it works!
