I think this is the first time I am posting to the forum in the 8 years I’ve been using WP. This has been driving me crazy for some time and I am surprised it has not been addressed/implemented.

These should be a requirement/settings for all plugins:
The plugin and the link it creates in the menu SHOULD have the same name.
The plugin page(s) SHOULD have the name of the plugin as header.
In the WP plugin page EVERY plugin SHOULD have a settings link.

It’s all fine and dandy when there are only a few plugins, but I work on sites that have dozens of plugins and it’s RIDICULOUS trying to find the link to the plugins settings. Some plugins have a settings link next to deactivate, they should all have that. And those with multiple pages there needs to be a link to those pages within the settings page.

Plugins are the most important feature in WP and they should be cared for and organized better.

While I agree in sentiment, as someone who helps review the plugins, it’s not manageable or sustainable :/

I honestly think the only way to get that level is to burn it all and start over, and they won’t let me do that yet.
