[Plugin: Link Library] Compatibility with qtranslate

  • Hello Jack, and tx for a so valuable plugin.
I use qtranslate on my wordpress site and this translation plugin add new fields for each language in the link category title.

When I read the page where i use link-library in my native french language, everything works fine. when i read it in english, or spanish, the category titles are translated but this “This category does not contain any links” message appears.
If i give in all languages the same category name everything works fine, but I would prefer people read “Services techniques” as “Technical services” when they’re english speaking.

Could you tell me how to solve this?
    Tx in advance.

  • Hello, is there a way I can help you gimme an answer ?
    tx in advance.

Sorry about that. There has been a lot of activity on the forum and I’ve been busy with home projects as well.

I have been re-working the way that link library retrieves the list of links from the database so that it is no longer name dependent. This will be released in the next week or two, depending on how much time I get to work on this. Once the new version is out, let me know if you still have problems with the qtranslate plugin. If so, I will install it and make sure that it works with the new release.

Can you try version 2.5 of Link Library and see what type of behavior you now get with the qtranslate plugin?
