I can’t speak for the iPhone or iPad, but I have tested this on my iPod Touch (latest version with last iOS) linking to an external site. It works like a charm on my desktop, but on my iPod, it starts to load the page, and then crashes.
It is a 360 virtual tour. The initial page determines if your are mobile or not, and then re-directs to a HTML5 (for iOS) or Flash (for desktop). The HTML5 pages does start to load, you can see the image, and it gets to about 70% down and then crashes the browser. This may have more to do with the external page, but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.
