What a shame. AFTER paying for a year’s worth of service, I find out that doesn’t shorten URLs…? If you want both your post title and URL to appear in a tweet, well, most of us will be out of luck. The only way my full URLs will fit is if I omit the post title, which pretty much comes across Twitter like spam. Not cool.

I was stunned to find we had to pay for this to begin with (the amount doesn’t matter…it still ought to be free), but then to learn it’s more stripped down than free plugins? Very disappointed, and will be requesting my money back.

    Hi PaperQueen,

I assume you’re the same person who emailed me. Did you receive my reply? does shorten URLs, it even says so on in the description. I don’t understand why you don’t think it uses shortened URLs? It uses TinyURL by default unless you have the Twitter Friendly Links plugin installed.

And why should this service be free? Most people who use it do so to drive traffic to their websites, so they can make money. I made this service as cheap as possible but I still have to run servers to make sure it works.

Also, you get a free 1 month trial to make sure it does what you want, so you didn’t technically pay anything… unless you choose to keep the subscription.
