• at least with the version of WP indicted. (WP3.2=unappealing)

This is a great plugin; too bad the author failed to reap his due reward. Maybe he’d still be supporting it. In any event his bog reveals him as a quixotic sort dabbling in a variety of otherwise (superficial) topics/coding.

Use it; love it. As for crashing and fatal errors, my experience with WP is that those usually result from other issues–hackers, bots, server problems, overlapping/conflicting plugins, wrong php or sql versions, user error, theme up-dates, partially failed FTP, etc. (Most blog are hacked from the server side, not the bog.)

Note that just because one is working on his site does not mean it is not under attack at that moment. Investigate before finger pointing.

Webmatrix (one the few excellent MSFT sftws) allows one to build and test his WP site on his PC (no fruit machine version) before uploading it. Then one knows for sure how the site (and plugins) is/are working. Webmatrix is recommended (free but requires a bazillion .net downloads) to all WP artisans.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever been called quixotic 🙂

Thank you for all of the kind words. The reason I stopped maintaining the plugin is because the code is quite messy, I started writing it when I was young and didn’t know better, it’s very difficult to extend or change because of how it’s written. It got to the point where to move forward, I would need to rewrite the entire codebase. I really didn’t fancy doing that ^_^

So I left the plugin open to whoever else wants to play around with the code.

Thanks again, you’re too kind 🙂
    Sam
