I am trying to show unlisted albums with kpicasa. The public ones shows fine. However, I get an error when I try to show an unlisted album. I enter as:

    KPICASA_GALLERY(AlbumName#AuthCode)

    I get the following error:

failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found in C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\kpicasa-gallery-php4mod\kpg.class.php on line 439
Error: kPicasa Gallery tried to connect to Picasa Web Albums using file_get_contents() and failed. Your web host is probably blocking outgoing requests.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

  • If you’re running PHP5, I suggest you use kPicasa Gallery instead of the PHP4 mod. I don’t support the PHP4 mod version.

I’m not sure why you would have an error when calling a private album, and not when calling a public album. If you know your way around, try to print the URL that the plugin is calling and paste it here.

Thanks for the tip. I installed kPicasaGallery, and uninstalled PHP4mod version, and now it works. It seems to work better displaying the images as well. Thank you for the help.
