# Plugin keeps resetting to default settings

 * Hello,
 * For some reason AE keeps resetting to default settings about once a day. I go
   in to Settings > Excerpt and everything is as if I just installed the plugin 
   and I have to change to my desired settings and re-save.
 * Any idea why this is happening and how to fix?

 * This is still happening…any ideas on how to fix? I have to go in manually and
   change the settings about once a day.

 * I’m not entirely sure why this is happening as I’m unable to replicate the problem
   myself. Can you consistently reproduce the problem?
 * Does it reset the settings on every page load?
