[Resolved] [Plugin: Kalin's Post List] following a site migration the plugin fails to show admin menu

  • Hi,

I have been using extensively this plugin by Kalin, literally a whole site was built around it. I made a site migration to AWS hosting using a bitnami stack and since then the plugin is broken.

The funny thing is that the site works ok, as soon as I try to access the plugin admin panel, I get a blank screen and the site content collapses.

Tried several reinstalls, checked database entries, nothing seems to work.

    help!

  • Solved it, the problem occurred because of the wrong security settings that were set (?) during the migration of the WordPress folders & files from a GoDaddy installation to the bitnami stack, via Filezilla.

Apparently the plugin (and other plugins) needs to have read/write/execute access (775) on the uploads folder (wp-content/uploads).
