  • I’m really confused about this plugin. I’m fairly new to WordPress but this one is really baffling me.

    I have the plugin installed and updated, but when I go to post, the post comes out with just text, the shortcode does nothing. Example:

    I put in:
    [wp-jw-player src=”URL”]
    my url is correct, but when I post, it’s just text. No player. Nothing.

    I also tried
    [jwplayerconfig=”myplayer” file=”http://www.mywebsite.com/myvideo.flv” image=”http://www.mywebsite.com/myimage.jpg”]

    But that did the same thing.

    The file is located on my server, it was too large to upload via Media Manager so I used FTP. Why is nothing happening???

    Hi pstrauss,

    The shortcode you are using is incorrect. For your example it should look like the following:

    [jwplayer config=”myplayer” file=”http://www.mywebsite.com/myvideo.flv” image=”http://www.mywebsite.com/myimage.jpg”]

    Where myplayer is the name of the player you created in the Admin section.
    This is not required though.

    Hope this helps.
