• Hey,

    Recently (I think v1.5.5-1.5.7) when I click the Insert JW Player button from the media library dialog, only the URL of the file is inserted. The shortcode is not inserted, as it used to be. This is the case for both video and audio. It doesn’t matter which player config I choose. It also doesn’t matter whether I try it on Posts or Pages. Same behavior in the Visual or HTML view of the editor. I disabled all other plugins, and the behavior was the same. I checked JW Player plugin settings and they seem reasonable.

    I can insert the shortcode by hand, of course, and it is correctly parsed and replaced on the front end. Also, I checked it on a site installed in a subdirectory on the same server (same versions and all that) and it works fine.

    I do get these errors in the Chrome Javascript console when inserting the JW player on both sites mentioned:
    Uncaught ReferenceError: blockreferrer is not defined
    Uncaught ReferenceError: loaded is not defined

    Ideas?

    @bradledbetter,

    This is unusual since that code hasn’t changed in quite a while. Have you added any new plugins recently? Perhaps there’s a conflict that I need to investigate.

    Thanks.

    Actually, turns out it was a conflict with a feature in the theme my client was using. It had actually been there for months, but no one had stumbled across it. Quick fix to the theme, and everything works fine now.

    Thanks.

    Awesome!

    Glad to hear you got it working.
