[Plugin: JW Player for WordPress – Flash & HTML5 Video Player] Setting-up Flow!?

  • I purchased a license for the Flow plugin so I can have one video pane and use the overflow so folks can choose between five videos I uploaded.

    Documentation for the plugin for use with the JW Player for WordPress plugin is non-existent as usual. Seems like all the JW Player software is very difficult to set-up and figure out and the lack of documentation doesn’t help. I tried searching online and in these forums for documentation without luck.

    I’ve already got the 5 videos and their thumbnails uploaded. But how do I make this playlist? It seems like I can go to a playlist tab and create a new playlist but choosing the media to use in this playlist is impossible as my site has over 2K pieces of media uploaded and the selector is in alphabetical order making it impossible (unless I spend a week) to find what I need.

    @mediabaron,

    Now that you have the license, you can simply activate the Flow plugin by checking the checkbox on the Plugins tab when editing your custom player.

    The playlist manager is definitely a sore spot and is next up for a redesign. We’re looking to add support for searching and sorting, and possibly relocating it to the media area of the WordPress admin dashboard so that it has more screen space.

    Thanks.
