    i installed this plugin and when i actived it, it crashed wordpress. WTF

    BTW i installed it straight from the dashboard. No downloading and uploading.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    That appears to be a warning message and not an error. The plugin and WordPress should continue to function normally. A few other users have encountered this message and have not had any major problems. We have discovered the cause and will be releasing a fix shortly.

    If your site actually stopped working we will of course investigate further.


    I had this happen too, but the problem is fairly easy to fix.

    The reason that WordPress can’t find wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/skins/newtube/ is because the folder is actually named NewTube, not newtube. All you have to do is go into that skins directory and fix the capitalization of that particular folder’s name.

    Hopefully LTV will fix that in an update.
