How to have all Accordion windows closed on page load (3 posts)

    This new version of JQuery UI Widgets is nice, but very much different that from year or so ago.

    Specifically, there are no longer built in options to say "close all accordions on page load," or "no auto height." The help docs at JQuery seem to refer to the old plugin... I did try pasting the script code into the page, such as below:

    But it did make any difference to the display.

    Mostly I'd like: No auto height (keep the panels only as big as the content of that window) and all panels closed upon page load.

    Where do I make the change to accomplish this please? Do not have a URL to share -- site is under construction.

    Hi Kelley,

    Not sure which Plugin you mean but this is the FIRST release of this particular Plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jquery-ui-widgets/changelog/

    That's easy, put the accordion in a div with the size set and add this to the settings under Accordion Tab next to Customize Initialization.

    $( ".accordion" ).accordion({
                collapsible: true,
                active: false,
                heightStyle: fill

    If you use id="accordion" on your accordion div then use...

    $( "#accordion" ).accordion({
                collapsible: true,
                active: false
                heightStyle: fill
