  • yeah, I don’t get it. The instructions are not clear at all. Was it supposed to have a class option with tooltip in it? I usually don’t sound this stupid. Can someone throw us a bone? THanks

    Hi,
unfortunately, WordPress does not have the CSS class dropdown box for links any more. I am currently working on a workaround.
Does the plugin work if you activate it to work for all links automatically?
The links need to have a title for the Tinytips to appear.
    Cheers,

I have the same problem – I am using WP 3.1.1 and NOTHING happens ..
I can see the classes and script applied in the source code and of course there is a title ..but the CSS and script is NOT applied when I hover over the link

    Hi,
that’s most probably a JavaScript/jQuery conflict with either your theme or another plugin.
If you post the URL to your blog, I could take a look at it.
    Cheers,

    Hi,
it looks like there is a JavaScript error when loading your site before the TInyTips JavaScript is called.
    These two files are missing:
    http://www.budapestflat4rent.com/wp-content/themes/arras/js/superfish/superfish.js
    http://www.budapestflat4rent.com/wp-content/themes/arras/js/superfish/hoverIntent.js
Could you try to restore/re-upload these files?
    Cheers,
    Arne

    @ Arne
Thanks – I loaded the Superfish folder from Arras and hey-presto all is well … something to watch out for in the future … THANK YOU

Love the plug-in! Just what I was looking for. It should be ranked higher in WordPress, as the higher ranked tooltip plug-ins aren’t nearly as good as yours!

I have a little experience in programming, thus was able to figure-out (with a little digging), that the title class needs to be added. Perhaps under “Installation” you might want to consider adding the final steps: select enable for all links, add title attribute with tooltip content where you want the tooltip to appear. (What about images? Haven’t tried any yet, but might be useful)

Anyways, great work here. Keep it up!
