[resolved] new zoom effect bug (7 posts)

I’ve just installed the update of your jColorbox plugin and activated the zoom. It’s cool but it has some problem with some images on my website.
I’ve an image aligned right but when I activate the zoom, alignment is lost, as you can see in the two screenshots (where I tried to temporarily disable a.zoomlink display that is the responsible of the issue).

    This is the wrong display:

And this is how it should be:

Thanks and have a nice day,

I can confirm this bug. I had checked the zoom feature box after install, then created a post with various images aligned left, right and center. None of the alignments worked until I disabled the zoom feature.

Great feature and great plugin - I hope this bug can be corrected.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
you're right, the zoom overlay breaks floating pictures at the moment. I'll have to find more robust solution to add the zoom overlay.
    Cheers,

    Hi,

I just released version 4.5 where at least the zoom hover doesn't break floating images any more. The placement may be off (not centered over the image), though.

    Cheers,
    Arne

    Thanks Arne it works.

You're right, sometimes the placement is a bit off, still have to understand under what circumstances. Maybe placing it in a corner could be an easier solution?

    Thanks for the fix. :)

    Update.

I was able to correct the problem on pages where the zoom icon was wrong with the following css:

    span.zoomHover { width: 72% !important; }

Of course it's not a solution but it may help in the meanwhile. 72% was the correct value for my needs (http://www.lemonskin.net/d3-dps/), maybe it should be changed for different size of images.
