# [Plugin: jQuery Colorbox] Javascript issue?

 * I was able to install colorbox without any issues, but when I roll over the controls
   the images blink and they do nothing when you click on them. Looks like some 
   sort of javascript error. Any idea what could be causing it?

 * Hi,
    your theme brings jQuery 1.4 along and loads it despite the fact that jQuery
   1.3.2 is already loaded. That is most probably the problem.
 * You could ask the developer why he didn’t use the jQuery library that WordPress
   brings along since that is best practice.

 * Hmm, I tried downgrading to jQuery 1.3.2 and I still get the same issue. Could
   there be any other reason for the errors? The developer hasn’t been answer my
   emails so I’m not sure I’ll ever get an answer from him.
 * At one point I had lightbox-2 working perfectly, but it would cause the slider
   on the front page to stop working. Its been such a battle to get everything to
   work properly.

 * Maybe it’s the time to go back to the drawing board with something like a [jquery plugin tutorial](http://www.authenticsociety.com/blog/jQueryPluginTutorial_Beginner).
