I have color box installed & working fine, except the controls are not showing for images in the sidebar.

It works as expected in the body of the page.
Although I have modified the css in this (color box) theme, I have tried a couple of the other (color box) themes (unmodified) with the same result.

Option”Automatically add colorbox-class to all images that are not in posts and pages” is checked.

    Webpage is http://www.boynevalley.org.au/history/

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • The images are in the sidebar inserted using the NextGEN Widget, so although the images are all from the same gallery, because they are in the sidebar, colorbox doesn’t seem to recognize them as a group & I surmise that is why the ‘prev’ ‘next’ & slideshow ‘play, stop’ buttons aren’t showing.
    Thanks

Images outside of the richtext area (visual editor) of posts or pages can’t be grouped automatically.

It’s sufficient to add “colorbox-123” or some other number to the CSS classes of the images you want to group. All images with the same number are grouped automatically.

You can do that at least for normal NextGEN Galleries, I have no idea if you can do that automatically with the NGG widget.

    Cheers,
    Arne
