• Hi

I get the following error on trying to Activate the plugin:

Plugin cannot be activated because it generated a fatal error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /nfs/c02/h06/mnt/17530/domains/blog.bermanandco.com/html/wp-content/plugins/jquery-colorbox/jquery-colorbox.php on line 710

    Any ideas?
    PS
I’ve deactivated Lightbox Plus because it broke when I updated WordPress. I have no other lightbox plugins active.
    Thanks!

  • Hi,
the errormessage seems to occur if the function used on line 710 is used with PHP 4. Do you still use PHP4?

(I have only searched for the “syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}'” part, I currently have no system with PHP4 to test this)

I introduced that function in version 2.0, so this would explain the errormessage appearing after the update.

    Best regards,
