[Plugin: JJ NextGen JQuery Slider] Instructional Tutorial Question

I love the idea of this plugin and have been looking for this! Is there a tutorial on how to properly install and use this, rather than the hit or miss approach of uploading it and then reading through the different forum issues? I’m looking for a dummy-proof step-by-step instructional outline if there is one.

I’m still trying to learn CSS and only know HTML and am probably intermediate with WordPress, so I appreciate any help.
