503 error? (2 posts)

    From what I can tell, the plugin doesn't produce a 503 service unavailable error. I think I'm right in saying that if you're unlucky with the timing, search engines can index your maintenance page instead of your website.

    Would it be possible do you think, to add the error header to the plugin output?

    I edited @ line 189 adding a
    header("HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable");

    BTW implementing this in the RTM plugin would be awesome, maybe with a checkbox "return 503".

    Are you gonna add this?

    PS) You can check with http://gsitecrawler.com/tools/Server-Status.aspx
