# Will not connect to WordPress.com

 * Good morning,
 * Since the latest WordPress update I’ve been unable to connect to my Jetpack Plugin
   to my WordPress.com account.
 * When attempting to connect I receive the following message:
 * “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This 
   usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Operation
   timed out after 30 seconds with 0 bytes received”
 * I’ve gone through the process of uninstalling, and reinstalling plugins one at
   time and have even contacted my host, although so far they’ve been unhelpful.

 * You’re not aware of it but please don’t put `[Plugin: Jetpack]` (now deleted)
   in the topic title. That’s not how the plugin sub-forums work.
 * Can you please re-post this in that plugin’s dedicated support sub-forum?
