[Plugin: Jetpack] Retrieve lost WordPress Stats

I self-host a website at my own domain. WordPress.com/sites keeps telling me ‘Can’t access site data’, even though the Manage module is on, as is the JSON and XML-RPC stuff (and sensehofstede.nl/xmlrpc.php is reachable).

As a last resort I disconnected my site from WordPress.com and reconnected it. This has not solved the issue.

What it did do is purge about eight years’ worth of WordPress Stats history, a valuable resource for me. I was wondering if this is ever going to come back and if there is anything I could do to get it back. I would be really sad if it were gone forever.
